When you send us a gift
This website takes no payments and no card details. You send a gift by bank transfer to our account, and the bank passes us the payer’s name, account number, the amount, the date and the message to the recipient.
We process this data to record the gift in our accounts and use it for the purpose you gave. The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, in particular the Slovak Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on accounting. We keep accounting records for 10 years, as that Act requires.
Movements on the transparent account are public and are published by the bank under its own terms. Please do not write anything in the message to the recipient that you do not want to be public.
If you assign us a share of your income tax and agree in your declaration to your details being sent, the tax administration tells us your name and address. We use them only to record the funds received and to thank you.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Only people at the foundation and those who run the website and server for us work with it, and only as far as their work requires. Data about gifts may also go to public authorities where the law requires it.
Should data ever need to be transferred outside the European Union, we will do so only with the safeguards the GDPR requires.

You have the right to:
- know what data we hold about you and receive a copy,
